Kelli’s Bio
A couple thousand years ago, during my studies with Chiron, I had the opportunity to meet the famous archaeologist Dr. Stephen. He let me join his excavation at the Circus Maximus, even then six, maybe 700 years old. It was a sought-after appointment, so the university credits were quite expensive. To pay the tuition, I worked in the Temples, pouring libations and helping celebrants enjoy their time worshipping.
This particular year, the Olympic Games were epic because Heracles himself competed. During the height of the celebrations a group of some 15 strong were worshiping up and down Temple Avenue, when they stopped at Hebe’s altar. As soon as I saw Hermes and Apollo were already there, I knew there’d be trouble. Those two coached and supported Heracles. The three of them were always together. And trouble followed them like a puppy.
So, that night “somehow” Hebe’s dress ‘came off’. I was there – it wasn’t her fault. But, she was mortified, crying. I jumped over the railing with my cloak and covered her as quickly as I could. We’ve been friends ever since.
Long story short… Hebe got fired. Her mom started nagging, then her sister the Goddess of Wisdom reminded Hebe she makes potions. She suggested Hebe sell them. Hebe loved the idea, hired me to create her brand/myth… and I started writing her stories.
